The “Gruppo Folk Campidano” was founded in 1960 with the purpose to rediscover those traditions that were going lost and it has always been
promoting research and study activities concerning the culture of our town in particular and Sardinia in general. All the dances, songs and instruments,
indeed, reflect habits and customs of our forefathers. With these credentials the group has been known and appreciated throughout Italy and also abroad.
In addition to the folkloric activity, which is the main one, the group is also committed in social and cultural
activities such as preparation of exhibitions, festivals, conferences and Christmas cribs in traditional costume.
