Irish Whistle: Christine Dowling

Christine has been performing traditional music since 1981 and has appeared at numerous festivals and concerts in the US, UK, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, Turkey and Spain.

She is a dedicated teacher of the whistle, flute, and traditional singing and regularly gives workshops in the US and Europe as well as teaching Tin Whistle and Singing for the Belfast Set Dancing & Traditional Music Society.

She has also been featured along with her husband Martin Dowling on TG4’s Geanntraí, and RTE’s High Reel.


Where?

CaFlà will take place in Cagliari. Cagliari is the capital city of Sardinia in Italy. The festival will be in the old town, in the piazzas of Marina neighborhood which is the fishermen ancient district.


When?
